He did everything he’d read about to create a quality website. But the website was still missing something.
What Was the Missing Element?
As some of you know, I drink a lot of coffee. I like French roast coffee, which is stronger than the average Folgers or Maxwell House. I drink it black. With no foo-foo.
The other day, after drinking my morning caffeinated brew, I hopped in my car and drove to Tulsa, Oklahoma via the turnpike. (I know, I know….”What in the wide world of sports does this have to do with the missing element?” Hang on. Keep reading. The answer is below.)
There are almost no stops from my house to Tulsa on this stretch of road. No restrooms. It’s all highway with cars and trucks buzzing by at 75 miles per hour or faster. As you’ve probably guessed, my bladder was feeling a little pressure from all the coffee. I needed relief.
At first I could live with the pressure. But as I got closer to Tulsa, my eyes were crossing. The pressure was building (there is a happy ending to this story). I was looking for any place where I could get relief. As the pressure got more intense, getting relief was the ONLY thing I could think of. I had to get immediate relief.
As soon as I got off the turnpike I found the first exit with a restroom. I didn’t care how clean it was. I didn’t care about anything but getting relief. I stopped at a huge truck stop. And boy was it busy.

The problem with the mortgage pro’s website was that it didn’t build any pressure for people to WANT to sign-up for his video. He gave away all the info on his web pages without asking for anything in return. So here’s what we did . . .
